Parallel Lines documents three friends, Georgia, Erika & Ryan, as they explore the Scottish Highlands together, showing one another their way of being in the mountains and sharing their experiences.
Spanning a winter and spring season, we experience winter climbs, tricky navigation, stormy bailing, steep gully skiing, sunny trad climbs and sunrise trail runs. What begins as a light-hearted challenge evolves into a more reflective journey, capturing moments of connection, humility and shared experience in the outdoors. Through a mix of cinematic landscapes and intimate storytelling, the film moves beyond performance and competition, focusing instead on the simple joy of being in the mountains.
