Everybody seems to think that you can’t do these things as you get older, that it’s all downhill. But the downhill is the best bit.
It’s All Downhill From Here is a short film following two runners, Trina and Gloria, as they make their way up into the Italian Alps together. We capture their time in the mountains, simply enjoying the alpine trails and their time hiking and running together.
Supported by Ellis Brigham and Hoka, It’s All Downhill From Here captures the essence of their friendship as they create space for older women, and Black women, in the outdoor running sphere, where age is often perceived as a barrier to competitiveness, and even enjoyment.
