An environmental film series, created alongside Scotica Film, for UK-based environmental organisation Forest Carbon.
Forest Carbon are the UK’s leading voice in woodland creation and habitat recreation for carbon capture. Through planting native trees and restoring peatlands, they have enabled hundreds of projects across the country to remove CO2 from our atmosphere, mitigate floods, increase biodiversity and benefit local communities.
I have worked alongside Scotica Film on two Forest Carbon projects. The first being A Space for Us, a short documentary piece focusing on the rural town of Boston, and a community who have created a whole woodland from fields, spanning two decades. The second project, A Winter Poem, is an ode to Scottish Winter and a film created to celebrate the small connections within nature, collaborating with Scottish spoken word artist Raymond Wilson.
