“My aim as a photographer and wildlife enthusiast is to take images that move me. Photographs that capture something of the essence of the animal, bringing its unique personality and the environment it lives in to life.
“It’s about having an intimate knowledge of the subject and capturing those fleeting moments.”
Finding Bo tells the story of how Scottish photographer Karen Miller fell in love with one mountain hare, Bo, and her journeys up into the snowy Monadhliath Mountains each winter to find her.
The film tells the story of how Karen found herself as a photographer in the Scottish Highlands, and how she fell in love with the threatened mountain hare. We see Karen take a different approach to her craft by forming profound personal relationships with the animals she photographs.
